Pale coloured embroidery thread is used to extend the overall design from regularly arranged to alternating patterns with plum blossom and bamboo, creating a rich and diversified texture. Baby carrying belts are used by ethnic minorities to swaddle their babies. They are made to exceptionally high craftsmanship standards using batik, brocade and embroidery techniques.
