Embroidered auspicious patterns include Shrivatsa, Shou and the Chinese text “功成精巧” , which means ‘achievement and exquisiteness’. Text embroidery is the most iconic feature of this piece. With great creativity and imagination, the creator has turned characters into patterns, such as the “福” character pressed into a triangle on the sleeves.
