Batik is very labour intensive and time consuming to make. Batik is a traditional craft and refers to the process of beeswax drawing and dyeing. The exquisite patterns highlight the creator’s considerable skills and dedication to passing down these techniques from generation to generation. Regarded as one of the oldest design aesthetics, the spiral pattern is an ancient traditional Chinese pattern. Baby carrying belts are used by ethnic minorities to swaddle their babies.
