Embroidered butterflies are meticulously and realistically detailed, with antennas, bodies and wings with patterns. Such attention to detail and realism reveals the superior observation skills of the Miao women, and demonstrates their love of and passion for the natural world. Baby carrying belts are used by ethnic minorities to swaddle their babies.
